Roxy, Rory, and Rowley go on one night, Rigby goes the night after

We were amazed that Roxy, Rory and Rowley went in one night to three different families and Barbara and I were happy and amazed.

Rigby went soon after and we are now kittenless.

However, as of 12/15/2011 we found out from Rory’s family that he has ringworm. Now Barbara is trying to notify the other adoptees of this and have them consult their vets ASAP.

This is another benefit of Adoption Jungle – and is one of the features that can be melded into the site to make AJ a very useful site.

The date calculations for ringworm (10-14 day incubation) can be factored into the adoption dates so that adoptees of the litter mates can be considered and alerts by email (and other means) sent to the litter mate families helping them understand and consider these things.

We adopted out Rory on 12/1/2011 which means as of 12/15 he may have contracted it while he was here. Had it manifested later on it would be less likely and the need would diminish in time to tell the other families.

In this case we should notify them and make suggestions as to what to do going forward.
